In February - April 2005 the Outdoor Advertising Association of Australia (OAAA), now known as the Outdoor Media Association (OMA), conducted an extensive research campaign entitled ‘POW’ (Proving Outdoor Works).

This was the first-ever researched cross-format campaign conducted in Australia.

The research covered reach & frequency, creative effectiveness and attitudes to Outdoor advertising in general.
