Eat Street Northshore is a Brisbane institution. If you’ve ever driven past on your way down the river, you know the feeling — the sudden hit of colour, energy, music and food that makes you want to pull over and be part of it.

That feeling was what we wanted to capture in this roadside moment.

We didn’t just want to advertise Eat Street. We wanted to translate the experience itself into something people could feel before they even arrived.

Working closely with Talent Corp, the idea was simple: extend Eat Street beyond the frame.

Designed to Extend the Frame

Rather than treating this as a standard supersite brief, the focus became experience translation.

Eat Street is immersive by nature — loud, expressive, and full of movement. The question was how to carry that energy beyond its physical location and into one of Brisbane’s busiest corridors.

The response was a build that extends past its own boundaries.

Built Beyond the Frame

The frame extension allows elements of the creative to move beyond the billboard structure itself, creating depth and presence that feels closer to installation than traditional out-of-home.

Custom lighting was integrated into the structure so the supersite continues to hold attention after dark, reflecting the energy and atmosphere of Eat Street at night.

Bespoke print treatments were used to ensure colour, texture and detail remain consistent and impactful at scale, carrying the vibrancy of the brand across every surface.

Together, these elements work to bring Eat Street into the roadside environment in a more physical, immediate way.

More Than a Billboard

The result is a supersite that doesn’t just promote Eat Street Northshore — it reflects it.

It captures that feeling of arrival before you’ve even parked the car, turning a high-traffic Brisbane corridor into part of the experience itself.

For audiences, it becomes a moment of recognition. For Eat Street, it becomes an extension of the destination.

Collaboration and Craft

Projects like this rely on close collaboration between creative thinking and technical execution.

A huge thank you to the GOA production team for bringing this build to life with care and precision. From structural engineering through to lighting and print execution, every detail played a role in delivering the final result.

Final Thought

This project is a reminder that Out of Home doesn’t need to stay within its frame.

When creative thinking leads the execution, even a roadside supersite can become part of the experience.
