Who They Are

Burleigh Brewing has been crafting award-winning beer on the Gold Coast for nearly two decades. Known for their no-carb lager Bighead and boundary-pushing brews like Hop Nectar, they’re not just a local favourite, they’re a staple of Australia’s premium beer scene.

The Opportunity

After 18 years of building brand love, Burleigh Brewing needed to evolve. Their goal wasn’t just more awareness — it was a complete synthesis of who they are: a Gold Coast original with a commitment to quality, craftsmanship and good beer done right. They wanted a campaign that would:

  • Fortify brand equity
  • Drive B2B and B2C consideration
  • Provide clarity for future creative direction


Our Approach

We deployed a network of 35 large-format digital billboards across Brisbane, handpicked for their mix of pedestrian and vehicular visibility. The creative was simple, witty and fresh: messages like “Yours Truleigh” and “Waistline Friendleigh[er]” became both a brand sign-off and a bold nod to their iconic product range.

Each location was selected not just for audience size but for contextual relevance, whether driving foot traffic to a nearby bottleshop or grabbing attention near high-volume bars. Dynamic creative and callouts helped connect the dots from brand awareness to purchase.

  • Used short, punchy headlines like “Yours Truleigh” to inject warmth and wit into a crowded category
  • Showcased the product proudly, from Bighead’s no-carb credentials to its world-champion status
  • Paired vibrant colours and crisp layouts to stand out visually across diverse billboard environments
  • Balanced tone and authenticity — feeling approachable without ever compromising on credibility

The result? A creative platform that didn’t just stand out, it became the new benchmark for the brand.
